A science that deals with pre-hospital emergency services is called paramedical science: and a person working in this field is referred to as a paramedic. Paramedical services are those services where professionals help the doctors in specialized areas and facilities for better diagnosis, treatment and therapy. DIIPSE was established with the objective of producing skilled manpower in different areas of paramedical sciences for better healthcare delivery in the country. It is a vast field. Deccan India is affiliated with semi-govt council. There are many courses available at diploma and certificate level to provide a balance of professions and general education and to enables students become professional paramedical technicians.
